“Who’s GONNA HEAL OUR WOUNDS” is a multimedia performance created by an unnamed queer-feminist collective. It explores themes of love, the body, womanhood, queerness, and resistance.
The performance centers the voices of queer women and FLINTA*, confronting the realities shaped by hostile political forces. It responds directly to the impact of homophobic and fascist legislation, engaging with the broader socio-political conditions faced by queer individuals.
As an act of resistance, the performance transforms art into a vehicle for survival and truth—especially in a time when those truths risk being erased daily.
The project was funded through a series of grassroots fundraising events held in Berlin, organized to support queer and feminist artists during these difficult times for the community in Georgia.
Supported by Untitled.tbilisi
The Independent Feminist Art Collective emerged amid ongoing resistance in Georgia and, for the past five months, has united around radical solidarity and the transformative power of art.
The collective brings together six women artists: Sona Kalandadze (visual artist), Kristi Chelidze (musician, poet), Mariam Gilashvili (videographer), Ketevan Samkharadze (theatre director, playwright), Tinatin Raphava, and Snail (musician, performer).
Working across diverse mediums—performance, text, visual art, video, and installation—they stage public performances, queer art interventions, and activist actions in both Tbilisi and regional areas. Their aim is to expose repressive systems and to envision a new, feminist future.
