About the Performance:

An ancient story that feels more urgent and relevant today than ever.

Medea — the timeless figure of a powerful woman who sacrifices everything for love.

Her story is written in devotion and in blood.

For a life with Jason, she abandoned her home, betrayed her family, and committed the unthinkable.

Now, facing the ultimate betrayal, one question remains:

Will she cross yet another line to say farewell to the man she once gave everything for?

Is a woman who gives up what is most precious to her still a villain?

Or is Medea, as a mother, simply protecting what the state seeks to take away?

This performance features an excerpt from Euripides’ Medea and invites us to confront the uncomfortable edges of justice, love, and revenge.
