About Performance:

 A Psychological Drama Clytemnestra can no longer sleep. Every time she closes her eyes, the past returns - Iphigenia, Agamemnon, blood, revenge, and dreams in which the dead speak louder than the living. Seeking help, Clytemnestra turns to a psychiatrist. What begins as an apparently ordinary therapy session gradually transforms into a confession, an interrogation, and ultimately - a verdict. As the conversation unfolds, the boundaries between reality and dream, victim and murderer, mother and avenger begin to dissolve. But Clytemnestra does not yet know the truth: the man to whom she is opening the darkest door of her past is not her psychiatrist, but her son, Orestes. Clytemnestra's Session is a contemporary psychological interpretation of the ancient Greek myth - the story of a mother who avenged the murder of her daughter and now awaits the arrival of her own son, who has come to kill her.

"From the very beginning, Giorgi Kashia disrupts the conventional boundary between the stage and the auditorium. The audience is seated on stage, on either side of the performance space. A long runway extending from the stage into the auditorium carries the performance space into the otherwise empty audience area, where some of the performers also appear. Thus, the auditorium, ordinarily reserved for the audience, becomes an integral part of the scenography, while the audience itself finds its place onstage.
